Children Education Program

The Society is dedicated to providing quality coaching and educational support to students from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and minority communities. Our mission is to ensure equal educational opportunities and support for economically disadvantaged students, helping them achieve their academic and professional goals. The organization aims to bridge the educational gap and enhance the competitiveness of these students by offering:

    1. Coaching: Focused on improving academic skills and linguistic proficiency at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
    2. Career Guidance and Counselling: Providing psychological support and career advice to help students build their capacities.
    3. Coaching for Competitive Exams: Preparing students for various competitive exams such as IAS, State Public Services, and bank recruitment exams.
    4. NET/SET Coaching: Assisting students in preparing for National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Eligibility Test (SET) to qualify for lecturer positions in universities.

Handicapped Welfare Program

: Above mentioned programme was organized in kolkata West Bengal in order to achieve the target of organization. In this programme guest speaker told to the participant about scheme and project conducted by state/central govt. literature of concerning subject matter were distributed so that awareness and education can be ensure. It was also added to ensure social rehabilitation of disable. About 30 participants participated the program.

  1. Skill Development Workshops: The program includes workshops where Handicapped person can learn new techniques and improve their existing skills. These workshops are conducted by experts in various handicraft fields.
  2. Marketing Support: The Trust provides marketing assistance to help Handicapped person reach a broader audience. This includes training on branding, packaging, and using digital platforms to sell their products.
  3. Access to Resources: Handicapped person are given access to high-quality materials and tools that are essential for creating their crafts. This support helps improve the quality and marketability of their products.
  4. Fair Trade Practices: The program promotes fair trade practices, ensuring that artisans receive fair compensation for their work. This includes connecting them with fair trade markets and organizations.
  5. Community Engagement: The initiative encourages community participation through exhibitions, fairs, and cultural events. These events help raise awareness about the importance of preserving traditional crafts and provide artisans with opportunities to showcase their work.

Old Age Welfare Program

We are organizing a Shelter Home Residence Program aimed at providing safe and secure housing for individuals and families in need. This initiative focuses on offering temporary shelter, support services, and resources to help residents transition to stable, long-term housing. This Shelter Home Residence Program aims to create a nurturing and supportive space where individuals and families can rebuild their lives and work towards a brighter future.

  1. Temporary Shelter: The program provides immediate housing solutions for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The shelter homes are equipped with basic amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.
  2. Support Services: Residents have access to a range of support services, including counselling, healthcare, and legal assistance. These services are designed to address the various challenges faced by individuals and families in crisis.
  3. Skill Development and Education: We offers workshops and training sessions to help residents develop new skills and improve their employability. Educational programs are also available for children and adults to continue their learning.
  4. Community Integration: The program encourages community involvement and social integration through various activities and events. This helps residents build a support network and feel more connected to the community.
  5. Transition Assistance: We provide assistance with finding permanent housing solutions, including help with rental applications, financial planning, and connecting residents with housing agencies.

Health Awareness Program

The organization dedicated to promoting public health and safety by organizing mask and sanitizer distribution programs. The organization focuses on providing essential protective equipment to underserved communities to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. Its aims to enhance community health and safety by ensuring access to essential protective resources and promoting preventive measures. Key activities include:

The program aims to empower artisans by enhancing their skills, promoting traditional crafts, and ensuring sustainable livelihoods through skill development and market access. It helps in Improved skills and craftsmanship among artisans. Increased income and economic stability for artisan families. Preservation and promotion of traditional handicrafts. Enhanced market access and business opportunities for artisans. The organization focuses on improving the livelihood of artisans through skill development program, market linkage and sustainable practice.

  1. Skill Development Workshops: Conducting comprehensive training sessions on various handicrafts such as embroidery, weaving, pottery, and jewellery making. Collaborating with expert artisans and professionals to provide hands-on training and mentorship.
  2. Design Innovation and Quality Control: Introducing modern design techniques and quality control measures to improve the marketability of handicrafts. Organizing workshops on design innovation to help artisans create contemporary products while preserving traditional aesthetics.
  3. Market Access and Promotion: Facilitating participation in local, national, and international craft fairs and exhibitions. Creating online platforms and partnerships with e-commerce sites to expand market reach.
  4. Financial and Business Training: Providing training on financial literacy, business management, and entrepreneurship to help artisans manage their finances and grow their businesses. Assisting artisans in forming cooperatives and self-help groups for better bargaining power and resource sharing.
  5. Infrastructure Support: Establishing common facility centre’s equipped with modern tools and machinery to enhance production efficiency. Providing access to raw materials and other essential resources at subsidized rates.

Consumer Awareness Program

Protection and promotion of consumer’s rights and interests is a vital function of the Government of any economy.

  1. It Is Basically a Social and Political Necessity and Is Essential for All Round Progress of The Country.
  2. In Rapidly Changing Business Environment and Emerging Global Markets, Expectations of the People of The Country for Better Services, Quality Goods, Availability of Choices and Value for Money Has Been Continuously Rising. Accordingly, Both Public and Private Sectors Are Undertaking Several Policy Initiatives, Schemes and Incentives to Promote Consumers’ Welfare in The Country.
  3. They Are Making All Efforts to Ensure That Consumers Are Provided with Every Relevant Information in Order to Avoid Any Kind of Exploitation and Given a Rational Choice in Selection of Products and Services from The Market.
  4. Consumers Need To Be Made Aware And Educated About Their Existing Rights, Which Are: (i) Right To Be Protected Against The Marketing Of Goods And Services, Which Are Hazardous To Life And Property; (ii) Right To Be Informed About The Quality, Quantity, Potency, Purity, Standard And Price Of Goods So As To Protect The Consumer Against Unfair Trade Practices; (iii) Right To Be Assured, Wherever Possible Of Access To Variety Of Goods And Services At Competitive Price; (iv) Right To Be Represented In Various Forums Formed To Consider The Consumer’s Welfare; (v) Right To Seek Redressal Against Unfair Trade Practices Or Unscrupulous Exploitation Of Consumers; And (vi) Right To Acquire The Knowledge And Skill To Be An Informed Consumer Throughout Life.

Women and Child welfare Program

The program aims to empower women by providing them with the necessary skills, resources, and support to improve their socio-economic status and overall well-being. They are also helpful in Enhanced skills and employability of women, leading to increased income and economic stability.

Improved health and well-being of women through better access to healthcare and awareness. Greater legal awareness and protection of women’s rights. Increased financial independence and empowerment of women. Strengthened community support for gender equality and women’s welfare. They also focus on empowering women through various initiatives, including skill development, health care, and financial inclusion. 

    1. Skill Development and Vocational Training: Conducting training sessions in various trades such as tailoring, handicrafts, computer skills, and entrepreneurship. Providing certification courses to enhance employability and self-reliance.
    2. Health and Wellness Initiatives: Organizing health camps and workshops on nutrition, maternal health, and reproductive health. Providing access to healthcare services and distributing sanitary products.
    3. Legal Awareness and Support: Conducting workshops on women’s rights, legal literacy, and domestic violence prevention. Offering legal aid and counselling services to women in need.
    4. Financial Inclusion: Facilitating access to microfinance and self-help groups to promote savings and financial independence. Providing training on financial literacy and business management.
    5. Advocacy and Community Engagement: Running awareness campaigns on gender equality and women’s empowerment. Engaging community leaders and stakeholders to support women’s rights and welfare.

Drug De-addiction Awareness Camp

The society has been conducting camps aimed at raising awareness about the bad effects of the alcoholism and drinking. The volunteers of the society.

  1. Went into the villages to raise consciousness about the effects of smoking and drinking and use of tobacco. Help of posters and banners was taken to make the presentation.
  2. Apart from this the persons who have given up the habit of drinking encouraged people to follow their path and the restraint that the one needs to take to give up this habit.
  3. It was started that thousands of people die every year because of the use of tobacco and other like things.

Promotion of Arts & Cultural Program

The program aims to preserve and promote local arts and culture, foster community engagement, and support artists and cultural practitioners. It helps in Increased awareness and appreciation of local arts and culture. Enhanced skills and opportunities for artists and cultural practitioners. Strengthened community bonds and cultural identity. Preservation of traditional art forms and cultural heritage. Key Activities:

  1. Workshops and Training: Conducting workshops on traditional and contemporary art forms, including painting, music, dance, and theatre. Providing training sessions for aspiring artists to develop their skills and techniques.

Drinking Water and Sanitation Program

We are organizing a Drinking Water and Sanitation Waste Treatment Program aimed at improving water quality and promoting sustainable water management practices. This initiative focuses on treating wastewater to reduce pollution, protect public health, and conserve water resources. This Water Waste Treatment Program aims to create a cleaner and healthier environment by addressing the challenges of wastewater management and promoting sustainable practices. Key Components of the Program:

  1. Wastewater Treatment Plants: The program involves setting up and upgrading wastewater treatment plants to ensure that water is treated effectively before being released back into the environment. These plants use advanced technologies to remove contaminants and pollutants from wastewater.

Community Education and Training: We conducts educational workshops and training sessions to raise awareness about the importance of wastewater treatment and how communities can contribute to reducing water pollution. This includes teaching best practices for waste disposal and water conservation.
  3. Monitoring and Maintenance: Regular monitoring and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities are carried out to ensure their efficiency and effectiveness. This includes routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades as needed.

Program Related to Agriculture

The primary goal of the program is to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability, improve farmers’ livelihoods, and promote climate-resilient farming practices.

    1. Training and Workshops: Conducting workshops on modern farming techniques, organic farming, and sustainable agriculture practices. Providing training on the use of advanced agricultural tools and technologies.
    2. Soil and Water Management: Implementing soil conservation techniques to prevent erosion and improve soil fertility. Promoting efficient water management practices, including rainwater harvesting and drip irrigation systems.
    3. Crop Diversification: Encouraging farmers to diversify their crops to reduce dependency on a single crop and improve food security. Introducing high-yield and climate-resilient crop varieties.
    4. Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs): Establishing and supporting FPOs to help farmers collectively market their produce and gain better prices. Providing training on financial management and business planning.
    5. Access to Resources: Facilitating access to quality seeds, fertilizers, and other essential agricultural inputs. Connecting farmers with government schemes and subsidies.

Road Safety Programme

The program aims to reduce road accidents and fatalities by promoting road safety awareness and educating the community on safe driving practices. Its Impacts are Increased awareness and knowledge about road safety among the community. Reduction in the number of road accidents and fatalities. Improved collaboration between the community and local authorities. Enhanced road safety infrastructure and measures.

  1. Educational Workshops: Conducting workshops in schools, colleges, and communities to educate people about traffic rules, the importance of seat belts, and the dangers of drunk driving. Providing training sessions for drivers on defensive driving techniques and vehicle maintenance.
  2. Public Awareness Campaigns: Launching campaigns through social media, posters, and local media to spread awareness about road safety. Organizing road safety rallies and events to engage the community and promote safe driving habits.
  3. Collaboration with Authorities: Working with local traffic police and government agencies to implement road safety measures. Advocating for better road infrastructure, such as pedestrian crossings, speed bumps, and proper signage.
  4. Distribution of Safety Materials: Distributing helmets, reflective vests, and other safety gear to motorcyclists and cyclists. Providing educational materials like brochures and flyers on road safety tips.
  5. Monitoring and Evaluation: Collecting data on road accidents and analysing the impact of the program. Conducting surveys to assess changes in community behaviour and awareness levels.

Tobacco control program

The organization has been conducting tobacco control awareness program among the students and other involved at 40 schools each in districts

Kolkata in the State West Bengal with the aim promote tobacco-free environment and create the administrators to adopt policies that support tobacco use prevention curricula. The activities involve rallies, awareness program through IEC highlighting the issues on prevention and control of the use of tobacco products was conducted to create awareness among students and others about the dangers associated with using various tobacco products and motivated them to never use such products and resist the influence of peers and tobacco marketers.

Rural Development Program

The program aims to improve public health by promoting proper sanitation practices and ensuring access to clean and safe sanitation facilities. Our organization has been working globally to provide access to safe water and sanitation through innovative solutions and community engagement. Its Impacts are Increased awareness and adoption of proper hygiene practices.  Improved access to clean and safe sanitation facilities. Reduction in waterborne diseases and overall improvement in community health. Enhanced school attendance and performance due to better hygiene facilities.

  1. Community Education: Conducting awareness campaigns on the importance of hygiene and sanitation. Organizing workshops and training sessions on handwashing, waste management, and the use of toilets.
  2. Infrastructure Development: Constructing and maintaining public toilets and sanitation facilities in underserved areas. Installing handwashing stations and providing access to clean water.
  3. School Programs: Implementing hygiene education programs in schools to teach children about proper sanitation practices. Providing sanitation kits, including soap, hand sanitizers, and sanitary pads.
  4. Collaboration with Local Authorities: Partnering with local governments to improve sanitation infrastructure and services. Advocating for policies that support sustainable sanitation solutions.
  5. Monitoring and Evaluation: Conducting regular assessments to monitor the impact of the program. Collecting data on sanitation practices and health outcomes to inform future initiatives.

The feedback received from the beneficiaries under each program was found very positive and observed improvement in their overall knowledge and attitude that are required to make informed choices and decisions and understand the consequences of tobacco use. The programs thus helped in sensitizing them at an early age and reinforce the same message at later stage also.
